Juan "Mad Dog-Flipflopper" Reyna Makes South Texas Politics History by Actually Endorsing Republican Loyd Neal during his own Democratic Debate

Update from debate on South Texas Politics between Juan "Mad Dog"Reyna and Clarissa Gonzalez with hosts Rene Saenz and Art Grenado. In what was a blockbuster in South Texas Democratic History, Juan "The Republican" Reyna lost his temper and bitterly was quoted as saying that if his opponent Democrat Clarissa Gonzalez won, he would endorse the Republican Loyd Neal in the general election. Hosts Art Grenado and Rene Saenz appeared floored on camera. Can you say, "Juan Reyna's campaign just imploded and he flipflopped on live TV?" Juan betrayed the Democratic Party on live TV. Unbelievable.

That was the climax to the embarrassment of a debate which was won hands down by Clarissa Gonzalez (n=97 sampling where she handedly garned 58% of the straw poll vote as victorious in the debate). An estimated 100,000 saw the debate on KTMV Channel 6 on Time Warner and 50,000 plus were listening on radio KXTM and Magic 104.9 and via the internet.

Reyna repeatedly screamed and overrode everyone. When asked by Art Grenado how he would prevent skyrocketing costs at the Hospital District, Reyna replied that for "50 years the insurance companies have had heydays and are greedy and need to be curbed". Reyna also shouted over Grenado, repeatedly interrupting with rants about greedy insurance companies. Mrs. Gonzalez slammed him back with the logical argument that rising obesity, diabetes and hypertension were the root cause of insurance prices and embarrassingly pointed out Reyna's ignorance by saying that Medicare and Medicaid have little to do, opposed to private insuance, with skyrocketing prices in the Hospital district, which Grenado appeared to agree with.

Reyna then blasted Mrs. Gonzalez regarding her military record. Mrs. Gonzalez was smeared earlier during the day at the courthouse with a failed media coup led by none other than Mike "the enforcer" Rendon and masterminded by Reyna and accused Clarissa of lying and Reyna continued on a rant about the difference between medical and honorable discharge. Mrs. Gonzalez remained calm and indicated that she enlisted, scored high on her ASVAB and was placed as a nuclear engineer but because of a physical disability could not serve. Reyna almost shouting at the top of his lungs and disrespectfully told her she was a disgrace to those who have served. She replied, "At least I enlisted, which you never have and I had every intention of serving. The ad you refer to confused medical discharge with honorable and for that I apologize."

Royal House Publishing was contacted and apologized and took responsibility for the typo on medical versus honorable discharge. Mrs. Gonzalez attempted to point this out but was again shouted at by Mr. Reyna. Grassroot consultants indicated that Reyna was nervous, abusive to the hosts and to Mrs. Gonzalez and was obviously desperate to prove some sort of point as he pulled out the newspaper in a weak attempt at discrediting Mrs. Gonzalez. Grassroots indicated, "Reyna, incredibly flipflopped and endorsed Neal right before our eyes and went back to being a Republican. Clarissa's camp could not have done better than this on the debate. Reyna showed his true colors as a greedy trial lawyer with an agenda to "hold chemical companies responsible" and punish "greedy insurance companies". People like Reyna are the reason that more business does not come here and Corpus is inaccurately still viewed as a plaintiff's haven. Thumbs down to Juan "Turncoat" Reyna."

In an upcoming interview at 10pm with Dave Johnson at 3 eyewitness News, Gonzalez gave her part of the military story and simply replied, "Desperate times require desperate measures and my opponent is simply furious with our campaign bringing out he has been a long time Republican who was against Abel Herrero and recently flipped back. Even tonight, sadly he endorsed my opponent by indicating that if I win he would be with Neal against me."

Reyna, a reported lover of history certainly did make Democratic history by flipping back to his true Republican Color on live TV in front of an estimated audience of 150,000 people. Way to lose some votes, Juan.
